the consideration of the Government and the Clubs in
order to ascertain that it will meet the requirement s
of the latter and constitute no infringement of the
rights possessed by the owners of "Marine Lot No.275.
Until the matter of the site has been
definitely settled, no progress can be made with the
question of the buildings to be erected on it. As
soon as definite arrangements have been concluded, I
will report further.
?, I may, however, mention that, with regard
to the additional reclamation involved in providing
the site, practically no additional expenditure is
entailed upon the Naval Authorities.
8. The original scheme of Naval Yard Extension
involved the construction of a sea wall along the
western boundary. To provide for the additional
reclamation, the see wall will be moved further west-
ward and, as it will be of a less expensive type than
that proposed under the original scheme, the cost of
filling in the extra area will be about balanced by
the saving in cost on the wall.
